Requirements for Membership
At Northside you must agree with the foundation of our Faith in Jesus Christ, and believe that the Bible is the Word of God without error. There must be a time in your life where you have surrendered your heart and life to Christ through Salvation, which means you believe that Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life, rose again on the third day and because of Jesus' finished work on the cross we can be saved by His grace and mercy. Each person coming for membership must have been baptized at the time of their profession of faith in Christ as an act of obedience to what Christ demonstrated to us. (Rom 3:23; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16-17; Romans 10:9)
Coming by request of membership means you are submitting to the church body to be held accountable in your Christian walk. There are no idle members. Each of us has gifts and talents that God desires for us to use to His glory.
